BGCS/NFGON Survivorship Conference
30th November 2018 at Canterbury
We are delighted to announce that we are running by popular request, the Gynaecological Oncology Survivorship Conference on 30th November 2018 in Canterbury. This event is being organised in collaboration with the National Forum of Gynaecology Oncology Nurses (NFGON).
There will be 3 speakers in the morning. Our keynote presentation "Patient Reported Outcome Assessment of Quality of Life in Gynaecological Cancer Survivors", will be presented by Elfriede Greimel, PhD. Professor Clinical and Health Psychologist, Medical University Graz, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Austria. Two Consultant Nurse speakers will then present on Menopause and Pelvic Toxicities after Cancer Treatment.
In the afternoon we will have talks from all the gynaecological charities; The Eve Appeal, Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust, Target Ovarian Cancer, Ovacome and Ovarian Cancer Action. They will be showcasing the work they are doing, embracing "patient power" to make significant changes to care planning AFTER treatment.
Registration details will be available soon. The meantime please contact Debbie Lewis for further information regarding exhibition and sponsorship. Administrator@bgcs.org.uk
